Breve Descrizione:

This MOOC explores the principles of nanomedicine and the potential of artificial intelligence in the healthcare sector. Participants discover the current and future applications of nanoparticles in diagnostics, drug delivery, and personalized therapy, while gaining an understanding of how artificial intelligence is transforming research and clinical practice.

Informazioni Base:

The course is divided into 4 modules for a total of 12 lessons:

  • Module 1 – Principles of Nanomedicine
  • Module 2 – Examples of Nanoparticles
  • Module 3 – Characterization of Nanosystems
  • Module 4 – Artificial Intelligence in Biomedicine

Each module includes quizzes and supplementary materials.

Risultati Attesi:

By the end of the course, students will be able to:

  • Understand the fundamental principles of nanomedicine.
  • Identify the main types of nanomaterials and their clinical applications.
  • Analyze how artificial intelligence supports drug design and advanced diagnostics.
  • Evaluate real-world case studies of AI applications in nanomedicine.
Strategia di valutazione:

A quiz at the end of each lesson and a final assessment with multiple-choice questions.

Each module contains several lessons consisting of videos, written texts, scientific articles, quizzes with automatic grading, and external links to digital resources

Prerequisiti:

Basic knowledge of molecular biology and chemistry (bachelor’s degree level).

Introductory knowledge of data science or an interest in artificial intelligence.
