The seminar aims to examine the contribution of qualitative research to the study of organisational contexts, with the objective of providing theoretical and methodological tools useful for investigating the complexity of organisational phenomena in their situated and processual dimensions. Particular attention will be devoted to understanding the methodological steps required to generate meaningful results from qualitative data, especially from interviews. The seminar will prioritise the use of thematic analysis as the reference method for the exploration and systematisation of empirical material. Through the analysis of case studies and group discussions, students will be encouraged to reflect critically on the decision-making processes that shape the design of qualitative research, with specific attention to the coherence between research questions, data collection strategies, and methods of analysis.
